Labour 4 Community supports practical organising and participation at a local level.
We are interested in how communities, campaigners and local Labour networks can work together more effectively, particularly at a time when many traditional forms of political participation are declining.
As part of this work, we are exploring how modern digital infrastructure can support more open, accessible and effective community organising — connecting people to the places, campaigns and conversations that matter to them.

Makerfield Volunteer Hub
An unofficial companion built by and for volunteers travelling in for the Makerfield by-election — covering how to get there, where to stay, what to expect on the doorstep and what local people are saying. A practical example of community-rooted organising: lowering the barrier to taking part and connecting incoming volunteers with the place they are campaigning in.
